PRODUCTS — FREQUENTLY ASKED
Financing questions, answered clearly
Institutional-style clarity on fit, process, and what lenders typically need to evaluate a request. These are general guidelines—each transaction is underwritten on its own merits and documentation.
Q-01
Which loan product is the right fit?
It depends on the business plan and the asset’s current and stabilized profile. Transitional financing can bridge acquisition or repositioning; permanent financing supports stabilized cash flow; agency fits qualifying multifamily; construction funds ground-up; SBA supports owner-occupied real estate.
Q-03
What information should I prepare to start?
A clear summary of the property and plan: address and asset type, rent roll or operating history (if applicable), photos, purchase/refi/construction objectives, requested loan amount, timeline, and sponsorship overview. If you have it, include a current financials package and a sources & uses.
Q-05
Do you work nationwide?
Yes—transactions can be supported across the U.S., subject to applicable legal and licensing requirements and the specifics of the capital source. If a request falls outside what can be handled in a given jurisdiction or structure, that will be communicated early in the process.
Q-02
How are lenders and capital sources selected?
Capital is matched to the execution: loan type, leverage and structure needs, recourse profile, timeline certainty, and the property’s risk factors. The objective is to target the right audience—bank, debt fund, agency, SBA, or other channels—so outreach is focused and decision-making is efficient.
Q-04
How long does the process usually take?
Timing varies by product and readiness of the file. A well-prepared request can move quickly into lender feedback, while construction, agency, or more complex structures generally require additional diligence. You’ll get a clear view of next steps and critical-path items once materials are reviewed.
Q-06
What can slow down approval or closing?
Most delays come from incomplete documentation, unclear sources & uses, gaps in operating history, appraisal or third-party report timing, or late changes to the business plan. The best way to stay on schedule is a tight narrative, consistent numbers, and prompt responses during diligence.
